Linked tables to an Access backend database? Then it is likely that ...

    • Either someone has opened the backend DB and modifies tables or
    • Someone else with the Access front-end has insufficient permission on the backend folder. Create/delete/read/write are required. In this case the front-end is unable to create the laccdb file (lock file) which then defaults to exclusive use.
