Will there be a SharePoint Calendar for Teams with full functionality?

Will we have the option for a SharePoint Calendar for a specific Team site? We have a Global Team which have reoccurring meetings, Town Halls, etc. I would like a location where everyone can go to see when the next meeting is without creating it on my own calendar. We have new employees for a growing team and would like a place where they can go get the Teams coordinates. The Current Channel Calendar only shows a weekly option. If it was monthly it would be more beneficial.
