Hello @Derek Benson Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A. Sorry for the inconvenience this must hve caused you!
I understand that post upgrading the VM configuration Recovery Services VMs reporting an error "No resource group is configured for the virtual machine"
Could you please disable replication and re-enable it?
To disable or enable replication for an Azure VM, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the Azure portal and select Virtual machines from the menu or search for it on any page.
- Select the VM you want to disable or enable replication for.
- In the Operations section, select Disaster recovery.
- Under the Replication tab, you can either select Disable replication or Enable replication depending on your need.
Please note that if you disable replication, the VM will no longer be protected against disasters. If you enable replication, you will need to configure the replication settings before replication can start. Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!
