how to add static route in a vwan hub with Expressroute as the next hop?

I want to add a static route in a route table within a vwan hub.
In the next hop drop down box, I see only entries for the peer vnets but nothing about the expressroute. How do get the expressroute populated in the drop down box?

    This is an expected behavior.

    ExpressRoute, as a product, does not support such static routed traffic.

    Instead, you should make use of BGP to advertise the address prefix and let the platform handle the routing with Any-to-any .
