What is the best way to manage application settings in azure container apps

Azure functions has a configuration section to manage the application settings, what is the alternative in azure container apps?

I believe we can use environment variables or even the azure app configuration but is there a straight forward way for managing app settings with ACA?

You can use the environment variable with Azure container Apps. Setting them in the portal or using your preferred IaC to do the same is pretty easy.

Is there any way to do so, I have the below challenges with the same:

I have a lot of app settings and I would prefer maintaining in a single file like we do in azure function

I want to use Options Pattern and I think having an appsettings file would be the better way to do

Arora, Siddhannt Do you use ASP.NET Core app and application settings in like appsettings.json? It is possible to use IOptions pattern in the container apps and will share the details once you confirm about API.

Hi, Yes thats right we are using ASP.NET Core Web API and have application settings and we are using IOptions pattern

But the problem comes when we have to deploy to multiple environments, we have to create separate image for every environment using different app settings.
Whereas with azure functions we were IAC to maintain the app settings.

So trying to find a way so that we can continue using Options pattern but we dont have to maintain app settings in the webapi project per environment
