When logging into the Azure Portal, I receive an error message of "Error fetching tenants". Trying to login using https://portal.azure.com/tenantdomain.com or https://portal.azure.com/tenantID also do not work. The portal is running very slow. We also cannot load any of our resources, we can still see them but when opening them we are greeted with a blank page and on the left an error stating the resource name, and underneath: "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'id')" Can anyone who has run into this issue provide some guidance please?

Experiencing issues like "Error fetching tenants" and slow performance in the Azure Portal can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

    1. Check Azure Service Health: Before troubleshooting further, it's a good idea to check the Azure Service Health dashboard (https://status.azure.com/) to see if there are any ongoing service outages or incidents affecting the Azure Portal or related services.
    2. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, browser cache and cookies can cause issues with web applications like the Azure Portal. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and then attempt to log in again.
    3. Use a Different Browser or Incognito/Private Mode: If clearing cache and cookies didn't resolve the issue, try using a different web browser or accessing the Azure Portal in incognito/private mode to see if the issue persists. This can help identify if the problem is specific to your browser settings.
    4. Check Network Connectivity: Slow performance in the Azure Portal could be caused by network issues. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection and try accessing the portal from a different network or device to rule out network-related issues.
    5. Verify Permissions and Tenant Access: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions and access to the Azure tenant you're trying to log in to. If you're part of multiple Azure tenants, verify that you're logging in to the correct one.
    6. Try Different URLs: Instead of using specific URLs like https://portal.azure.com/tenantdomain.com or https://portal.azure.com/tenantID, try accessing the Azure Portal using the standard URL https://portal.azure.com and then selecting the desired tenant from the top-right corner after logging in.
    7. Contact Azure Support: If the issue persists and you've exhausted troubleshooting steps, consider contacting Azure support for further assistance. They can help diagnose and resolve any underlying issues affecting the Azure Portal or related services. Monitor Azure Status Updates: Keep an eye on Azure status updates and announcements for any resolutions or updates regarding the issue you're experiencing.

By following these steps and potentially reaching out to Azure support, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issues you're encountering with the Azure Portal.

I'm receiving the same error. Had no problems until I went to check my Azure dashboard today to try to look at my virtual machine settings, and I can't get to anything. I get this error when trying to view my virtual machine settings: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'id') Anyone know what the problem is? The other user that posed the same question above seemed to run into the same problem today too.
