Backup On-Premises Hyper-V VM to Azure without MABS server?

Is this currently possible? I have a VM that I'd like to back up into Azure instead of having to have an on-prem backup server like DPM or MABS.

The only thing I see you can do with the MARS agent alone is files and folders.

Thanks,

John

    Hello @John ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A community platform!

    1) Is there a reason why you do not want to use MABS/DPM to backup your Hyper-V VM to Azure?

    2) If you do not intent to use MABS/DPM then the other option is MARS agent and it can backup files, folders and system state directly from on-premise Windows machine to Azure.

For more details you can refer to Azure backup architecture overview.
