How to get the Microsoft Teams mobile iPhone app to show caller id names for incoming calls from my Outlook contacts directory?

I have a large Outlook contact directory. For the Teams desktop app, it syncs with my Outlook directory and thus properly displays the name of the caller from that directory. The same cannot be said for the Teams mobile app. The app does apparently sync with my outlook contacts, even though I also have the Outlook app on my mobile device. So there is no way to determine the name of the person calling my Teams mobile app unless I know their number. If I try to just make a Teams contact, as opposed to an Outlook contact, is doesn't allow me since it considers that a duplicate. So to do so I'd have delete my Outlook contacts. I consider the Teams contact directory inferior to the Outlooks contact directory as the Outlook directory can hold a lot more profile information.

    Hi @Patrick Wesley

    Thanks for your reply!

According to my research, this is a limitation of the Teams mobile client. It's not the same as the desktop client.

To get this feature more quickly, I have found a post in feedback collection website, and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. You can also make suggestions on that website and hope Microsoft will notice this in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support.
