Teams internet disconnection when running HP ALM Performance Center

My company uses HP Performance Center for web testing and whenever we start recording scripts Teams, along with other MS Office programs, loses internet connection.

Performance Center uses an Internet Explorer add-on called "HP Functional Test Unit" that acts as a man-in-the-middle proxy to intercept URL and HTTP data for recording scripts.

I can only assume the add-on is interfering with whatever CA's Teams and Outlook (etc.) uses because sometimes I see a pop-up stating the SSL information does not match the expected CA but I had thought this was coming from IE until recently. Now it appears this window is comin from one of the several Office 365 applications we use.

So my question is what, if any, relationship Teams has with Internet Explorer and why IE would negotiate any of the SSL connections from other MS office programs, as no other non-office applications lose internet connection when testing.

Thanks

    @ThinkTwice ,

    Does Teams run normally when no HP ALM Performance Center running?

    For Teams, make sure you have opened the following, for all locations, for media in Teams:

    Ports: UDP ports 3478 through 3481
    IP addresses: 13.107.64.0/18, 52.112.0.0/14, and 52.120.0.0/14

    For relationship between Teams and browsers, you can learn more from this article: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/microsoftteams/get-clients#web-client. However, it has no explanation about SSL.
