Hello All,

I'm receiving below error while installing SCOM 2019 on newly built MS server. For the Data base verification I have given our alias name instead DB server name.

I have verified firewall is off both MS and SQL server and added install account in local admin group in DB server. (SQL version is 2016 with latest CU version)

Please note we have current environment in Azure (Both MS and DB servers in Azure now) which is working fine. Due to cost issue our management wants to bring SCOM environment to On-Prem.

So I have built new MS servers in On-Prem and while installing SCOM 2019 receiving below error.

Error Message:

The installed version of SQL Server could not be verified or is not supported. Verify that the computer and the installed version of SQL Server meet the minimum requirements for installation, and that the firewall settings are correct. See the Supported Configurations document for further information.User's image

    Hi,

Please check the SQL Server Requirements for System Center Operations Manager

It might be helpful to look at the install logs. They are usually located under %LocalAppData%\SCOM\Log
