Recent images show pictures in a restricted folder. How do I not show recent items when changing a picture on a site page?

Hi.
One of my customers has a site with a restricted document library, and someone on the team is trying to update images on a site page listed in the SitePages library. When they try to change an image for an icon in one of the modern webparts, a list of recent images appears as one of the menu options on the left in the popup.
Some of the pictures in this recent list are from a restricted folder that user does not have access to. Why is she seeing these picture in that list if she doesn't have access?

P.S. - she is not a site collection admin or isnt granted permissions as part of a group. When I search her name in "check permissions," She is listed as "None"

Let me know if you need any more information!

Thanks!
Matt

    Hello @Kostak, Matthew ,

Is the "Recent images" that you mentioned is a feature of the Image web part?
As shown in the figure below :

In my test, I set the unique permissions of the Site Assets Library. There is one user has Full Control permission in this Library.

When sign in this Library using another account, the account user cannot view these restricted images.

If you can see these images, you can clear the browser cache first, sign out of the SharePoint and sign in again.

    Thanks,
    Echo Du
