I have got a Custom Vision project that I would like to move into another account.
I have used this guide: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/custom-vision-service/copy-move-projects
I have also met all the prerequisites and used postman for the procedures.
The transfer works fine with no errors. However, on the other account, the project is missing a large number of labelled images and iterations.
The results from the step - 'Export the project', show that the request finds the correct number of iterations and images. However the following step - 'Import the project', fails to fully import the project.
@Plastic Spotter Are you using the same version of the custom vision API for import and export? Could you also try the same using the curl command to ensure all the parameters are passed to the import command?

Hi @Plastic Spotter , it seems I am facing the same problem. Were you able to fix it?
@romungi-MSFT I have tried it multiple times and made sure that the requests are correct, but always the same problem.
I have created an issue for Microsoft Learn on GitHub because I hoped it's possible to get more details about the error, but they wrote that it is a product issue: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/issues/67964
This is how I can reproduce it:
I am trying to copy a custom vision project.
The export works fine, and I get a token.
Then I send the request to the import endpoint and it returns 200 OK. The body of the response contains an object with a status property with the value Importing.
When I open the imported project, I see that some images and tags are missing.
And when I call the endpoint to get the project details, I see that the status is now Failed.
But I don't know why it fails and what I should change to make it work.

Thanks to @romungi-MSFT I was able to open a support ticket.
The cognitive services team confirmed that this is a bug and they rolled out a fix.
For me, it's working now.
