I'm attempting to deploy an Azure Stack HCI cluster. All pre-requisites are met, but the deployment fails with error : The resource provision operation did not complete within the allowed timeout period. I have attempted the cluster deployment via Azure Portal and it fails every time.

    Hello @Marco Garay

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

The error message you are seeing indicates that the resource provision operation did not complete within the allowed timeout period. This could be due to a number of reasons, such as network connectivity issues, insufficient resources, or incorrect configuration settings.

To troubleshoot this issue, I would recommend the following steps:

    1. Check the deployment logs: You can check the deployment logs to see if there are any specific errors or warnings that might be causing the issue. You can find the deployment logs in the Azure Portal under the "Deployment" section of the resource group where you attempted to deploy the cluster.
    2. Check the network connectivity: Ensure that the network connectivity between the Azure Stack HCI cluster and the Azure Portal is working properly. You can use tools like ping or traceroute to test the connectivity.
    3. Check the resource allocation: Ensure that you have allocated sufficient resources for the deployment. This includes CPU, memory, and storage resources.
    4. Check the configuration settings: Ensure that the configuration settings for the Azure Stack HCI cluster are correct. This includes settings such as the virtual network configuration, storage account configuration, and subnet configuration.

If you are still unable to resolve the issue, I would recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot the issue and provide guidance on how to resolve it.
