    Based on your question during the thread creation, we understand that you want to know how to create a fiscal calendar and different between fiscal calendar and ledger Calander.

    1. Fiscal calendar: Fiscal calendar it is used to define the specific fiscal year of the company and for the division of the periods within the fiscal year.

    Please find the below steps to follow the creation of fiscal calendar:

    Navigation to create a fiscal calendar.

    Go to General Ledger Module --> Calendar --> Fiscal Calendar

    Click new fiscal calendar.

    Note: For example, now we are in 2024 year then we need to select on dropdown button select the year 2024.

    In Fiscal year, the periods are dividing into years, Half years or quarters etc.

    EX- FY-2024

    Period-1: 01-Jan-2024 to 31 Jan 2024.

    Period-2: 01-Feb-2024 to 28-Feb-2024.

    Peroiod-3: 01-Mar-2024 to 31-April-2024………

    1. Difference between Fiscal calendar and Ledger Calendar:

    Fiscal Calendar is used to planned create and divide in a fiscal calendar within the fiscal year in a fiscal calendar.

    Ledger calendar is used for controlling the periods to change the period status by giving the access to various users.
