I want to create a folder with some columns(having required filed) which should not be present in other folders of that SharePoint site.

I want to allow users to create documents inside the Marketing Content Blocks folder such that whenever they upload any file in the mentioned folder, it will have some required columns, for example, col1.
But whenever I create any new column inside the mentioned folder, those columns also get added to the General folder, making the col1 required in every folder in the library.

Help me solve this issue. I know, by default the columns get added to the entire library.
I also tried content types.
For content type, the user will have to change the content type of every file he uploads and I don't want that to happen.
Even if I try to change the content type after uploading a file, it doesn't get changed even after selecting the desired type.Screenshot (30)

Here, in the above picture, even after clicking Final Content Type , the content type stays the same as Document.

    Hi @Rachna Harlalka,

Thank you for posting in this community.

Per the description shared, I understand your concern but SharePoint can't add separate columns for a folder, required columns affect the entire SharePoint Document Library. This is designed by SharePoint and there is no way for us to change it for now.

I recommend that you add the two folders to separate document libraries. One document library should manage files with the same columns.

Thank you for your kind understanding.
