Windows Licensing on VMware Cluster

We have a six hosts/server VMware cluster. All the servers came with Windows Server Data Center OEM licenses and covers the processor/core licensing requirement. So we have six six OEM licenses in total and 30+ windows VMs in the cluster.

  1. When we license a Windows VM do we need to put the OEM license from the server that VM is running on?
  2. If windows VM moves to a different host/server do we have to update the license with corresponding OEM license?
  3. Is there a better way to manage windows VM licensing in VMware virtualized environment and allow VMs to move between hosts/server?
