Hello all,

the outlook of all of our users displays the yellow closed envelope symbol since we installed Exchange Server 2019 CU14 SU1 (KB5036401).
This seems to happen only on internal messages.

Does anybody know whether this is known by MS and will be fixed?

Kind regards

Andreas

My users are reporting the same thing and I also installed Exchange Server 2019 CU14 SU1 last week.

I can't determine what the envelope icons mean, as they also appear on some external message, but not all.

I'm hoping this is an issue with the update and can be fixed, but at the very least I would like to know the meaning of the icon.

We installed CU13 Mar24SU for Exchange 2019 last night and also getting the envelope icon on internal messages. When you reply to the message, the icon changes to the reply symbol. New feature?

    Hi,

we updated Exchange 2019 CU14 last Sunday and get multiple issues including above one:

    • Search wasn't working, but went out as per Microsoft instruction bypassed in registry adding 2 DWORD keys
    • And got envelope icon on almost all internal messages were used direct Exchange transport protocol. If using SMTP it's works without it.
    • Also from previous update CU13 still present issues with recall messages. Users can't anymore recall messages. It's showing recall and original message without deleting to end user side. Message owner not getting anymore any replay of recall status.
