Hi Team, can we deploy azure stack HCI cluster without an active directory deployment..The reason am posting this question is our HCI deployment need to happen a couple of weeks ahead of AD connectivity. Does this mean we need hold cluster deployment until AD or does it allow to leave to workgroup and later add to domain? Any inputs?

    @ShineeshTH

    Deploying Azure Stack HCI without Active Directory is not something that is supported. You can review the pre-requisites here. Preparing Active Directory is the first step and required to deploy your Azure Stack HCI.

    Hi @ShineeshTH ,

    To add to what @deherman-MSFT said above, the process of joining the nodes to the domain occurs during the deployment of 23H2. As such, the domain must be prepared ahead of time. It is not supported to pre-join or post-join the domain in this scenario.

    Hope this helps!
