Is there an option for approving Office store desktop add-ins based on user requests?

Is there an option to allow users to request add-ins for Office desktop apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from the Office store? That kind of workflow appears to be available only for SharePoint, Teams, and Azure. The client has been forced to revoke access to the Office store to prevent unwanted add-ins and avoid security risks. A request/approve option with email notifications to admins would solve this problem. Does anyone have examples of how they've solved this for other clients?

    Hi @Rob Soto (Quisitive)

As far as I know, there is no such option to allow users request add-ins.

If you want users to request add-ins from https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps?product=office&page=1&src=office&corrid=442d14b6-aee5-9325-691a-f50a44a6ae25&omexanonuid=&referralurl=, this may require additional development work, such as on SharePoint.
