How can I use global variables in output messages in the Office 365 Outlook plugin for Copilot Studio?

I am using the Office 365 Outlook - Send an email (V2) plugin to send an email in Copilot Studio. The plugin asks for confirmation from the user before sending an email and outputs a chat message to the user after the mail has been sent successfully. I would like to customize the messages by using the email address from a previous step. The email address is stored in a global variable (because the plugin does not recognise topic variables). However, I do not see the global variable in the variable list for the output messages. Is this a bug in the preview version of the plugin?

Note: I am able to customise the address and content of the email message on the Inputs tab using global variables. But I do not see the global variable on the Details tab or Outputs tab of plugin configuration. The variable list is empty in these cases.

I am also aware that I could implement the same logic with the Send an email (V2) Action instead of the Plugin version, but it requires extra steps in the Topic because the Action version does not include the confirmation messages.
