Hi there,

We have a device which have telemetry consisting of

_eventcreationtime

and

_timestamp

We want to use _eventcreationtime in the x-axis of all the graphs in our dashboards. Is that possible?

Hi @Bijay SUBEDI Greetings! Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum! Thank you for posting the question here.

All the chart views in the IoT Central has a default X axis denoting the timestamp of the telemetry event.

We want to use _eventcreationtime in the x-axis of all the graphs in our dashboards. Is that possible?

Unfortunately, it is not possible with to change the default X axis value on these charts. The default time stamp indicates the time at which the IoT Central device has received the telemetry. I understand there can be scenarios such as batched event sending where the event creation time stamp could be different from the time stamp the events are received on IoT Central device end.

You can share a product feedback idea on the Azure IoT Central feedback page requesting to add a feature to customize graphs supporting custom X axis.

    Hope this helps!
