Do not qualify for developer sandbox? Needed for Learn Modules

Hello,

The Learn module in the Microsoft 365 fundamentals (https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/training/modules/what-is-m365/5-explore-microsoft-365-tenant) instructs learners to create a developer account to get the free 90-day sandbox to train in. However I am receiving the following error upon registering: "Thank you for joining. You don't current qualify for a Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription." How am I supposed to complete the training if I don't "qualify", especially for a free resource?

Thank you,

Ryan LaMarre

    Hi rclamarre,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

We are currently collaborating with our internal team to resolve this issue promptly and restore the M365 developer subscription for learning path users. Access to the free Microsoft 365 E5 subscription is currently paused for the short-term while we adjust the qualifications for that benefit. Any updates regarding the resumption of this service or the availability of this feature will be announced on our blog Latest updates to the Microsoft 365 Developer Program.
