Hi,
We have the setting "Scan documents on upload" activated on our Sharepoint server farm. We were able to upload an Eicar file to try this antivirus, but it doesnt give any messages on that a virus was uploaded or stop it from uploading. Is it supposed to be like this or is it possible to receive a message whenever an infected file is uploaded to sharepoint?

If we only have Defender AV installed on our SharePoint Servers (2019 and Subscription Edition), will this feature "Scan documents on upload" use Defender to scan the document or do we need a third-party AV installed?
