To fix a USB flash drive loaded with Windows 10 not showing up in boot manager, you can try the following steps:
- Ensure that USB boot is enabled in BIOS. You may need to temporarily disable Secure Boot to do this.
- If you have installed two versions of Windows on the same PC but they don't both appear in the boot menu when you start your PC, you can manually add a Windows installation using Bcdboot. Open a command line and use Bcdboot to add the new operating system to the boot menu. For more information on how to do this, see the "Repairing a Windows partition on a dual-boot PC" section of the "Repair the boot menu on a dual-boot PC" article.
- If the PC does not boot, try inserting the drive into a different USB port. Avoid using USB hubs or cables, because they might not be detected during the boot sequence. Avoid USB 3.0 ports if the firmware does not contain native support for USB 3.0.
