Hello,

envoronment:

Exchange 1

Exchange 2

DAG

Exchange1 has a stopped transport service

The error that is displayed when I try to start the transport service error is the following

There is no mail.qua file, but there is a Messaging.old-20230910125533 folder

Messaging.old-20230910125533 looks like this

Does anyone have an idea how Messaging.old-20230910125533 was created and how I can recreate mail.que and start the transport service?

i would appreciate any advice

    Looks like someone manually moved all that.

    If you move all those all those current files in the queue directory somewhere else and empty that queue dir, , then restart the transport service, it should automatically recreate the mail.que file. You could always try moving the existing one back and restarting as well but it may be too late for that.
