Cloud Service Migration - new resource not showing up after migration

I successfully completed a cloud service migration over an hour ago.

When I go to the old resource in cloud service (classic) I get an error that the resource doesn't exist which is expected.

The page that's hosted with the cloud service seems to be working fine.

When I navigate to Cloud Services (extended support) I don't see any resources. I have a contributor role and would expect that I would be able to see the new resource especially since I had the permissions to complete the migration in the first place. I thought that perhaps I need to wait some time before it appears, however, it's still not there and I'm not sure why.

If I click on "Create a cloud service" and for Cloud Service name input the name of the service I migrated the name is still accepted. I'd think that if I'm missing permissions to see it then maybe it will give me an error that it is already in use (I've seen a similar thing happen when setting up a key vault).

Can you please help me understand why I'm not seeing the migrated resource as it looks like it just disappeared and if it is related to permissions then where do they need to be changed.

Many thanks!

Ewa

    Hello, @Ewa !

What should I do if my Azure Cloud Services migration appears to have been successful but I can't see the migrated resources?

There is a list of known issues with migrating Cloud Services (classic) to Cloud Services (extended support), however this doesn't stand out as a straightforward match. There are a couple things to try:
