We are facing some issue with our Outlook addin when we test with the Outlook that comes with Microsoft 365 subscription. The application is working in the new version of the Outlook desktop that comes with Windows though.

In this video, I walk you through the development process of an Outlook add-in for our CRM. I explain the source code and the use of an EO generator. We explore the manifest.xml and the main extension points, including the launch event, message read command surface, and message compose command surface. I demonstrate how to test the manifest file in Outlook desktop applications and confirm the installation of the add-in. Finally, I discuss the behavior of the add-in in different versions of Outlook and highlight the functionality of the launch email extension point.

I have attached another manifest file which doesn't have the LaunchEvent (manifest1.2.xml) and this one is working fine with Outlook that comes with Microsoft 365. But Launchevent is required for us to achieve the Email Logging feature where user can log any communication in Outlook to be moved to our CRM solution.

Can you please advise on how to fix this? Appreciate any help on this matter.
