Unable to Open Multiple Word Windows When Creating New Documents from Add-ins

I've developed an add-in for Microsoft Word. However, I've encountered an issue where I'm unable to open multiple Word windows when trying to create or open new documents from within the add-in.

This is happening only when my Desktop word version got updated to 2404.

    I believe the response already posted may be the best advice. I would add that you should post Feedback using Microsoft's feedback mechanisms because that is how they learn about bugs in the program (not from posts here).

    With the release of new versions, Microsoft will fix some problems with Office applications. For more details of Version 2404, please refer to: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/officeupdates/current-channel#version-2404-april-29

    At the moment, I suggest you roll back to the previous version.
