Are the hardware requirements for ASDK up to date?

I am planning to build a PC to run Azure Stack Development Kit so that we can validate some configurations before applying them in a production Azure Stack Hub environment. The latest hardware requirements state a dual-socket motherboard/CPU is needed with a minimum of 16 cores. This seems like it is probably an old requirement since modern CPUs can have 24 or more cores on a single CPU.

Can I successfully install and run ASDK with a single-socket motherboard with sufficient cores? E.g., I would like to use an Intel Core i9-13900K 3 GHz 24-Core processor.

    @D'Arcy Rittich

    My apologies that you did not receive a response sooner. I confirmed with our ASDK team that your setup will likely work, but it is also dependent on what you are doing outside of the install. They also wanted to mention that it is stated in Azure Stack Hub release notes - Azure Stack Hub | Microsoft Learn, starting with Azure Stack Hub 2311, we are not releasing new Azure Stack Development Kit (ASDK) version.

    If you still have questions, please let me know and I can facilitate a sync with our Stack team.
