There seems to be a bug in the alignments returned when translating English to Dutch.

Hi! Has anyone used Microsoft's Translate API to translate from English to Dutch, including alignments? This https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/translator/reference/v3-0-translate#request-parameters, with the optional "includeAlignment" parameter set to true.

I'm currently getting alignments back, but for over 90% of sentences they are completely misaligned; they don't even line up on word boundaries. Oddly, out of around 180,000 sentences, about 10% of the sentences have very accurate alignments. But the other 90% do not work out well at all.

By contrast, translating the same text into Spanish or French yields pretty decent alignments overall (although there are bugs there too, but not nearly at the same scale).

If anyone has experience with this same issue or suggestions about how to get someone from Microsoft to look into it, I'd sure appreciate it.

There were similar issues reported in the past for which the fix was released. However, that was a different language. I will again follow-up on that and check the status.
