‎message recall reports are not correct‎ In hybrid exchange

HI,

 

We have hybrid exchange 2019, the issue only happens when cloud user sends an email to on premise user and when user tries to recall his email he got this message (Messages to recipients outside your organization or on-premises can't be recalled), although the recall itself is working fine and it is just reporting issue.

    Welcome to the Microsoft forum for technical support.

    Based on your description, I searched the official documents, which pointed out that the new email recall feature only works within the scope of the tenant. Messages cannot be recalled over the Internet or across tenants. For hybrid customers, emails sent from cloud mailboxes to local mailboxes cannot be recalled. Therefore, the recall itself may succeed, but the recall report will still indicate "failure" in this scenario, which is the expected behavior.Screenshot 2024-05-29 101226
