Hello,
I currently have a uni email account that will be shut down as I have completed my studies, however I used this account to save my university content. I would like to save this content before it is deleted into cyberspace for eternity, but if I try download a folder, I am met with the error "the file "[file name]" doesn't appear to be a valid download file" (on Mac/Safari) OR "The Compressed (zipped) Folder [folder name] is invalid" on PC.
I can download individual files, but I have thousands sprawled through an intricate web of folders, so it would take quite some time.

I have attempted on both Mac + PC using various internet programs with no luck on either. How do I overcome this and secure my files off the cloud?

    Hi @Ellice Cook

Does the issue occur with all folders from OneDrive?

    • I suggest you rename a folder for a test, ensure the name is not too long. Plus, make sure the name does not contain invalid characters, such as following:
    < (less-than sign)

    > (greater-than sign)

    / (forward slash)

    \ (backward slash)

    : (colon)

    | (pipe)*

    • Then download the folder and open it.

Does this account have the license of desktop OneDrive client?

If yes, you may you installed OneDrive on your machine, copy local OneDrive folder to other local folders.
