I successfully upgraded SCCM to 2403. I'm trying to upgrade secondary sites, but I received the below error during the prerequisites check.

[Failed]:The logon account for the SQL Server service cannot be a local user account, NT SERVICE\<sql service name> or LOCAL SERVICE.  You must configure the SQL Server service to use a valid domain account, NETWORK SERVICE, or LOCAL SYSTEM.

I used valid domain account but still I receive mentioned error.

how do I fix it?

    Hi, @Seyed Majid Taheri

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

We may try to change the Service Startup Account follow this guidance:

    https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/sql/database-engine/configure-windows/scm-services-change-the-service-startup-account?view=sql-server-ver16#SSMSProcedure

If the domain account still gets the error, we may try to use the LOCAL SYSTEM.

    Hi, @Seyed Majid Taheri

The ConfigMgrPrereq.log shows that it failed to get the SQL service account with error code 1727. This error code indicates that the RPC server is unavailable.

You should check if the RPC service is running on the server and that the firewall is not blocking the RPC traffic. You can also check if the SQL Server Browser service is running.
