Hi,

I've just logged in to the new Purview portal with Data Catalog Curator role. Under my Az SQL databases I can see table objects but not any view objects.

Using the Free version, not upgraded to Enterprise.

Any ideas ?

@Arif Syed - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

It's possible that the views are not being scanned by Purview. Purview scans the metadata of the database objects to create a catalog of the data assets. If the views are not included in the scan rule set, they will not be visible in the Purview portal.

If the views are included in the scan rule set and still not visible in the Purview portal, it's possible that there is an issue with the scan. You can check the scan status and logs to see if there are any errors or warnings related to the views. If you are still having issues, please do share the details about the scan and the screenshot where you are not able to view objects.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
