Windows DNS timeout issue

I have been having a persisting error with DNS timeout, and my ethernet connection will cut out. No warning and no pattern, only thing in event viewer is the DNS Client Events 1014 error consistently showing as issue occurs or shortly after resetting my ethernet. I can't tell which but I have to assume that is what is causing my ethernet connection to cut. My only choice is to restart the network adapter or to restart the computer. Can happen multiple times on the same boot, and has occurred on start up. I have tried several troubleshooting steps and running commands. If someone could help me out I would be eternally grateful as I've been dealing with this for months.

Details for DNS Client Event:

  • Name resolution for the name v10.events.data.microsoft.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded. Client PID 5200.
  • Name resolution for the name dlassets-ssl.xboxlive.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded. Client PID 16152.
  • Name resolution for the name settings-win.data.microsoft.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded. Client PID 5620.

Lots and lots and lots of these errors, mostly random client PID and names but I recognize a few repeat offenders. But that's all I got. Please help!!!
