Purview: new type definition custimozed - schema like PowerBI dataset

Hi!

I have tried to create an entity type through the API with a schema like powerbi_dataset.

For this I have tried alternatives. For example, I have duplicated all the powerbi entity types and their relationships in order to get a type with a schema like the attached one.

I created them with special attention to the section “options[schemaElementsAttribute]” and it still does not have the schema shown with the dropdown option of tables/columns nor the name “Field name”.

First of all, I really appreciate the responses. Thanks again.

The problem I am trying to solve is the creation of a custimized entity type that is displayed with the same format as the schema of the type already created by Purview “powerbi_dataset”.

I replicated the powerbi types involved in the powerbi dataset schema (powerbi_dataset, powerbi_table and powerbi_column) in order to obtain the same schema. To do this I copied the type definitions by renaming them (adding a number 2). I attach screenshots of the definition of their types.

    typePowerbiDataset

The powerbi_dataset type has no relation to any schema type entity that can change the schema display. It is based on the relationship with powerbi_table and does not refer to the column “Field name”.

Loading these types, which are practically the same, the visualization is different, as shown in the screenshots.
