    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

The GPO has been successfully implemented, but it is not functioning properly in a few environments. The following issues may be causing this:

    1. Network issues

DNS configuration errors: Ensure that client machines can correctly resolve the DNS information for the domain controllers.

Unstable network connections: Check the stability of network connections.

    1. GPO link issues

GPO not linked: Verify that the GPO has been linked to the appropriate Active Directory node.

    1. Group policy filtering

Check if any security or WMI filters are applied to these environments, which may exclude or deny the group policy.

    1. Group policy processing order If multiple GPOs are applied to these environments, their processing order may cause certain settings to be overridden or ignored.
    2. Group policy update issues: Try manually running the gpupdate /force command on client machines in these environments to force an update of group policy settings.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider enabling detailed group policy logging on client machines to collect more information about the failure cause. For detailed instructions, please refer to

This document also has some reasons why gpo applications may fail.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu
