How to remove permanently a automation account

I have created and deleted 10 automation accounts, currently I cannot create any more. It seems that the accounts I deleted have entered soft delete status, is there any way to permanently delete them?

My problem is that I have deleted a resource group without an automation account and I need to create an automation account in the new resource group.

Thanks

    Hi Nguyễn Hữu Tấn Đạt,

We appreciate your engagement with us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To permanently delete soft-deleted Azure Automation accounts, follow these steps:

    • If your Automation account is linked to a Log Analytics workspace, but you want to keep the workspace, Unlink the Log Analytics workspace from the Automation account, Delete the Automation account.
    • When you delete an Azure Automation account, it enters a soft delete state for up to 30 days, during which it can be recovered. If you can't permanently delete it immediately, you might need to wait for this period to end.
    • For more information regarding the account deletion, you can follow this link: Manage your Azure Automation account | Microsoft Learn

To create the new automation account, you can browse this link: Automation Account Creation
