hi everybody

due to troubleshooting on a ongoing support-case, we have to rollback from SCOM CU6 to CU5.

is there a "proper" way, to downgrade the CU-installation?

as far as i know, just uninstall the CU-update only downgrades the binaries on the system, but this action will not touch the database itself?

can we just run the installation of CU5 again after the uninstallation of CU6?

    Hi,

System Center Operations Manager update rollups are cumulative. This means that each new update includes all the fixes of the previous updates, and you don’t need to apply them in order. Therefore, we can always apply the latest update.

We cannot uninstall a later-version cumulative update to downgrade to an earlier-version cumulative update.
