    As far as I know, when you respond to a meeting request, Outlook usually sends the meeting request to the Deleted Items folder. To change this setting and hold the meeting request:

    Go to the settings of your Outlook.com PWA>>Calendar>>Events and invitations>>Invitations from other people.
