Hello,

I am using Document Intelligence Custom Extraction Model feature to train some models according to needs. But so far for training the model there is no charge. In the Pricing - Form Recognizer API | Microsoft Azure pricing link there is no specific cost for training. There is only

SubscriptionCustomised extractionPricingS0 - Web/ContainerCustomised extraction**$50** per 1,000 pagesSo can anyone help me with the pricing how much does it cost to train a model? Is it still measured by the train data page size or something else. And when I want to use that model to extract data 50$ per 1000 pages is applied?

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards Tunahan

Hello @Tunahan Akdoğan , Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

Am I charged when training a customised form model? Training customised models is always free with Document Intelligence. You are only charged when a model is used to analyse a document.

There is no cost associated with training a model using the Custom Extraction feature. The cost of $50 per 1000 pages applies only when using the model to extract data. Additionally, the pricing for the Custom Extraction feature is based on the number of pages extracted, not the size of the training data.

How does Document Intelligence count the number of pages processed? Document Intelligence is billed by pages analysed. When a document is submitted for analysis, all pages are analysed unless a page range is specified with the "pages" parameter in the request.

In the pricing page, scroll down to the bottom of the page to refer these FAQs.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Vasavi
