Hi all,

I've just ended a ssis migration on a dedicated machine and today is the real first day run.

I reduce the logging on the SSIS step to BASIC (but I would like to set to NONE).
There are so many SSIS with HIGH frequency and from this morning ssdb datafile is close to 7Gb... in the old server is a HUGE db.

Naturally I've set a low retention...

2 Question:

  1. I would like to use PAGE compression on larger tables... but being a system DB I don't want any surprises, what do you think? Is it ok anyway? I have never done this on an SSISDB, but many times on others.
  2. If I set NONE to the logging TAB

the default will become the

I must have in my archive some references to articles that explained the customization of deletions in order to make the tables more slim... but I think it all refers to the retention of the days that I am going to insert... or is something over?

THANKS for your time.

ALEN
