If I get the Xbox gamepass and buy a game, will I still be able to play the game after the GP expires since I bought the game?

I'm interested to get the gamepass but I want to buy a game with the discounted price and I was wondering if I would keep the game after the gamepass expires or if I have to re-activate the gamepass to be able to play the game that I bought.

    Yes. If you buy a game it is yours permanently irrelevant of any subscription service you have or even if the game is removed from the store.
