Opening app page with custom campagin in Win Store app.

Hello,

I am opening app page directly in Windows Store app

using such function:

var success = await Windows.System.Launcher.LaunchUriAsync(appUri, options);

and using such URI string:

"ms-windows-store://pdp/?PRODUCTID=xxxxxxx&cid=pass_ra"

where:

"xxxxxxx" - is app store id

"pass_ra" is custom campagin identifier

all works and app page is opened.

Next, after some days, I check Custom Campagin page in Partner Center.

There are not my openings reported.

What I am doing wrong?

According to the document Create a custom app promotion campaign.

This data is only tracked for customers on Windows 10. Customers using other operating systems can still follow the link to your app's listing, but data about those customers' activities will not be included.

Did you open it on Win11?

This is indeed an unexpected behavior. To better troubleshoot the problem, I would appreciate your help to collect the following information.

Do you see this problem after VS associate with store?

Have you made sure that this code has been successfully uploaded to the store?

Does the same behavior occur in other versions?

I am not sure, But I tested during developing time, so this is possible, that app wasnt properly asociated with a store. I return my test using flight package, so I will be sure that the app is associated properly.

This code wasnt uploaded to the store, I tested during developing time, whe app was in run mode in VS

Does the same behavior occur in other versions?

I tested only on one version and one app now.
