Hi Techs

I m looking for assistance in setting up safe senders list for new outlook app using gpo/ preferably Intune .

I have tried using the below gpo and configured the path to text file that contains the list of safe senders.

User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Outlook [version] > Outlook Options > Preferences > Junk E-mail. Double-click "Specify path to Safe Senders list."

This works well with the old outlook app but however when we switch the outlook to new app, it just doesn't work.

Has anyone successfully deployed safe sender list to new outlook app?

Thanks in advance!

Aravinth Mathan

    Hi @Aravinth Mathan ,

    Welcome to our forum!

As i know, it's not available to up safe sender list via GPO in New Outlook for Windows. If you need the feature, i'm afraid that you need to switch to Legacy Outlook.

Please kindly understand that many functions are not designed at present. At present, what I can do for you is to submit feedback for your request and I have post here, and you could vote for it. If you have any suggestions or ideas, it's suggested that you could post here. Hope Microsoft will notice this in the future.
