  1. Can we have custom notification from Intune? like Windows 11 23h2 upgrade your machine

2)After machine downloaded the update machine will pop us for the machine restart, Can we have repeated pop up window restart from Intune ?

  1. While deploying quality update from Intune during restart of the machine we get option to restart with update . Can we get similar kind of experience for Windows 11 Feature update for reboot ?

4 ) if we reboot will Machine update despite for my scheduled time ?

Regards,

Senthil

A hint, you can also use Update Rings to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and with that, you will have better options to schedule, restart and use notifications to users.

@senthil kumar arumugam, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For your questions, here are my answers:

Q1:Can we have custom notification from Intune? like Windows 11 23h2 upgrade your machine

A1: In Intune, there's no built-in policy to custom windows update notification.

After researching, I find a link describe to use PowerShell script to deploy a notification. You can refer to it and contact windows support to see if they can help on this.

Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.

Q2:After machine downloaded the update machine will pop us for the machine restart, Can we have repeated pop up window restart from Intune ?

A2:You can set the Settings Catalog policy setting "Auto Restart Notification Schedule" which can specify when auto-restart reminders are displayed.

Q3:While deploying quality update from Intune during restart of the machine we get option to restart with update . Can we get similar kind of experience for Windows 11 Feature update for reboot ?

A3: For the policy setting, is it "Number of days to wait before forced reboot"? You can set "Auto Restart Deadline Period In Days For Feature Updates" in Settings Catalog policy.

Q4: if we reboot will Machine update despite for my scheduled time ?

A4: If we set "Scheduled install time" and "Scheduled install day", it will still install on the specific time even when you reboot before. And if the installation at the specified time is not completed because of power policies, user absence, and so on. In this case, it will not attempt installation until the specified time occurs again or until a deadline you have specified is reached.

Hope the above information can help.
