Autopilot failing to download IME MSI on some machines

I have a set of computers that fail to download the IME MSI when running Autopilot. I can see the following event ID under Eventvwr: 1907 - EnterpriseDesktopAppManagement CSP: Application content failed.

When I go the registry under HKLM\Software\EnterpriseDesktopAppManagement\S-0-0...\MSI{Product ID}\ I can see the URL it should be retrieving the MSI from. If I copy/paste the URL into Edge, I am able to download the MSI and install it on the machine, retry autopilot, and see it complete.

But why is it failing to download automatically? The URL seems correct.

This is only happening with a group of computers from a company called Mele. I have Lenovo machines, and Autopilot works flawlessly on those.

@David Henriquez, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, I know the Autopilot enrollment is failed due to IME failed to download. But when you manually download it, it can be downloaded and installed. It only affects Mele machines but working on Lenovo machines. Could you confirm if the status value is 30 under the registry key you check?

Meanwhile, for the affected device, if we install with the same OS version and updates as the Lenovo device, and then do Autopilot, will it work?

if it is still not working, I think we need to capture network trace log, Procmon log to look into the issue. I suggest open case to do analysis.

Hope the above information can help.
