Edge automatic sign-in issues using RCG

・Operation and Procedure

  1. Login to Windows 11 client terminal with fingerprint using WHfB
  2. RDP connection to RD session host using RCG
*RD session host is Windows Server 2022.
*That server is already a hyblid AD join.
  3. Edge startup in the session host

・Expected behavior

Automatic sign-in with Microsoft account by launching Edge in the session host.

・Current behavior

Automatic sign-in is not performed by launching Edge in the session host.

When I RDP to the session host with ID and password without RCG, I can sign in automatically with Microsoft account without any problem. I would like to know if there are any GPOs that are required.

Any help would appreciated. Thx.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To resolve this issue, please kindly open GPO editor and navigate to below path:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge.

    Find the key "ConfigureOnPremisesAccountAutoSignIn"

and change value to 1 to enable this policy.

After applying the policy please kindly restart the machine and test it again.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou
