How to set up client permissions on secure shared database

Hi. I am building a database for a person who audits hospitals and so the database is shared, between her and another lady, on a very secure site. The problem we are having is when I program it to do something, like show P1 from a checkbox to say P1 or nothing instead of true or false, it shows up right and prints right on my side, but on her side, it prints true or false still and sometimes the program I programmed it to do, doesn't work on her side. Also, the checkboxes are blue on her side, which I feel is an error somewhere. She goes to the properties of the sheet and unblocks it. Now, I have her going to file, options, trust center, macros, enable all macros, and also the client settings, unchecking the confirm record changes, document deletions, action queries and linked read only tables, as well as marking the button default open mode to exclusive. Is there anything else I am missing? She just wants to be able to use it the way I programmed it and also be able to print it. Or, does she need to do all this stuff every time she opens it. She did print it right one time and I am wondering if this is something I need to work on her with or is there something I can do to make it easier if this is the case or am I missing something? Thank you.
