How to fix error message "The operation cannot be performed because the object has been deleted?" when sending an email?

When sending an email, I often get the error message, "The operation cannot be performed because the object has been deleted", despite me not doing anything different compared to when it does send. Sometimes it fixes itself, but other times it takes days to resolve. Does anyone know a way to fix this? Thank you.

    Hi @Ryan, Samantha

    Welcome to our forum!

This error message usually indicates an issue with Outlook’s data files or synchronization problems. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

    • Sometimes this error occurs when Outlook data files corrupt, therefore, you can try to Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost).
    • Check your account settings: If you’re using an IMAP account, you might need to specify the “Inbox” in the root folder path.
    • Create a new Outlook profile: In some cases, creating a new profile entirely can resolve persistent issues with sending emails.
